Its 2009 and what LG calls as smart phone can’t sync with outlook. My Nokia phone in 2000 could sync with outlook.
After buying data cable and software, I realized that LG doesn’t support Xenon for outlook sync. I have wasted multiple hours on internet to find that despite all the workarounds posted you can’t really sync the phone with outlook. Mine is going back.

    BTW other than that:
    Battery life is miserable.
    Touch is un predictable
Phone hangs every now and then. .

The xenon is the best phone I ever had. This phone is great to text with, it’s so easy! It has a touch screen and a keyboard so if you don’t like touching the screen to type or text you can just slide out the keyboard. The buttons on the keyboard are big enough to use, but not weird like phones I’ve had in the past. It comes in black, blue, red, or silver. There are many shortcuts on the phone like a favorite home page where you can put your favorite applications and a favorite friends home page where you can put your best friend’s phone numbers as a shortcut. Also, on the main home page is a box with short cuts to viewing pictures, a to do list, a calendar, a music player, a world clock, and a regular clock. One reason this phone is so amazing is that it has a very large screen. Pictures are easier to view on this large screen rather than phones with a tiny one. It’s also useful because all the applications can be larger and so can the font so it is easy to read. Even though the phone is larger, it can still easily fit in your pocket, which is nice. Another reason why people should buy this phone is because it’s not easily broken. I’ve dropped it so many times, from the top of my dad’s truck to the driveway, down stairs, and I even accidentally threw it at the wall and it still works perfect. Thirdly, this phone is an excellent phone to get because it has so many shortcuts. On the home page is a bar to the side with shortcuts I use all the time like texting, the phone book, and calling someone. These shortcuts are very helpful because all I have to do is select it and use it instead of finding it in the menu. As you can see, this phone is one of the best phones you can get because it has a touch screen and a keyboard, it has helpful shortcuts, and has a big screen, but can still easily fit in your pocket. I recommend that you buy the LG xenon because you will definitely love it.

This phone has quite nice functionality, and i find it to be fairly intuitive and easy to use. The music player works well, but head phones / ear buds are hard to find (i found one here on amazon – @ “KarenDeals” – works great and was cheap!). The key board is quite nice, and texting is easy.

The only issue i have with this phone is that about 6 weeks after my purchase, the screen auto-rotate function (flips vertical to horizontal, allowing use of the keyboard) broke. I could not get it to turn horizontal. i tried everything – including reading the manual carefully regarding the “auto rotate” function, and learned more about the phone than i wanted to. There is no manual over-ride command to make the screen rotate, and even if there was it would be a drag, since it’s nice to just slide open the phone revealing the keyboard and having the screen turn accordingly.

So, with the screen rotate function broken, the keyboard is not acknowledged, and thus is useless. This phone without the keyboard is meaninglesss! Without the keyboard you might as well have a $20 throwaway phone.

So, it was replaced and the replacement phone is working fine now for about a month (fingers crossed).

I would figure this was just a fluke, but i have a friend with the same phone and had the SAME problem! Now, 2 phones is not exactly a scientific study, but it makes me wonder.

I just upgraded and I’ve loved the phone since I’ve had it.

    PROS:
Great battery life (considering I only talk and text on it)
    Touch screen is responsive
Size is just good enough when using and also to fit into your pocket
    Camera quality is pretty good

    CONS:
Seems fragile. I already have a small scratch on the screen. I’d recommend screen protector and a case/shell (both are dirt cheap on this site).
Sometimes the touch screen accuracy is off a bit.
